The work of the Kunene Foundation is driven by the pursuit of academic excellence, innovative research, collaboration with communities and redressing the imbalances of the past. Though there is much work ahead, we have accomplished alot. Thanks to the incredible support of our corporate donors, generous volunteers, hardworking staff & our trustees.
One achievement we are particularly proud of, is nearly tripling the Graduation Pass Rate on the campus of KwaHluzingqondo High School - through the work of the Mazisi Kunene Center of Excellence.
Here are some of the important initiatives that we have successfully delivered and wish to expand:
- The preservation and promotion of the Mazisi Kunene intellectual legacy
- Constructing a new Science Lab at KwaHluzingqondo High School
